The Forced Circulation (FC) evaporator combined with a draft tube vapor liquid separator is used for Thermal Kinetics’ Draft Tube Crystallizer (DTC).
This is one of the most cost-effective crystallizer styles suitable for inorganic salts not requiring a tight crystal size distribution. Crystal growth is promoted by control of magma density (crystal population) and suspension in an internal circulation pattern with product drawn from the circulating suspension.
